| Description: Hi my name is Sparky; I am a 1 year old Boxer, Shih-tzu mix. I weigh about 25 lbs. I am a good dog but I was not socialized enough as a puppy, which makes me nervous when meeting new people. After I am comfortable and get to know you a little, I am very sweet, affectionate, and playful. I would do best in a home without small children. My last owner was an elderly woman, who could not take care of me anymore. I did live with a cat but I have the tendency to want to play with them. I was not around other dogs in my last home but I do okay with calm dogs at the shelter. I have a habit of barking at strangers, but I am young and I can be broken of this with training. Please contact the shelter or stop by and visit me! |
